Amy Smart is a former American actor and model. Amy Smart was born and raised in California USA began her modelling in Italy. She made her acting debut in the year 1996 with her debut in the TV production Her Costly Affair. It was a struggle to land an appearance for her in Starship Troopers. It was a difficult transition for Amy since she needed change from modeling to acting. Models aren't thought of as great actors so they tend to be given smaller roles that aren't very important.
